Video editing has been a passion for me ever since my mid-teens. I began editing at the age of 14, making gaming videos on my YouTube channel at the time. Since then, I have shifted my focus to projects that are much more personal to me. For example, recently I have been making a few ‘aftermovies’ for music festivals that I’ve been to, as well as title sequence concepts for Doctor Who – both of these types of projects challenged me in completely different ways helping me improve as an editor.

Music
Music is another big passion of mine, I’m a big fan of Electronic Dance Music and am particularly into Dutch DJ & Producer, Martin Garrix. I have seen him perform over ten times and even met him at Creamfields Festival in 2024. In addition to this, I am part of a community called the ADE Chat. This community was initially brought together for the love of Martin Garrix & his music, to meet up at Amsterdam Dance Event 2023, but this concept evolved into so much more. It is now a worldwide group chat where people come together to meet for many shows and events, even some that are non-music related. I have made so many friends thanks to this community and it has completely changed my life.
DJing
I have recently started DJing as a hobby and have fallen in love with the art of mixing songs. I own a standard beginner friendly DJ controller which is my primary piece of equipment to practice on. Additionally, I have started renting a studio every few weeks which provide professional gear such as CDJs to practice on even further. This particularly has been a challenge to get into but so far has been incredibly rewarding.

Go-karting
In 2022, I started getting passionate about go-karting, more specifically the indoor karting scene. I primarily went to several venues owned by TeamSport – the UK’s largest indoor karting company. During 2023 I spent a great deal of time on track as I found my place in a new community; I made some new friends both on and off the track thanks to this new passion. In Autumn 2023, I competed in the BIKC (British Indoor Karting Championship) hosted by TeamSport. I made it to the Regional Finals where I placed 5th overall, narrowly missing out on making it through to the National Finals.
